Mayo Clinic Proceedings has published Consensus Guidelines for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain authored by the American Society of Pain Educators , which for the first time provide healthcare professionals with a definitive, consistent treatment strategy for the management of pain associated with diabetes.
